It has come to my attention that, after so many months (close to 10 months) since I started clicking on ads, that it is all unreal. Fortunately, this has been a personal social experiment on the PTC scene.
The interest died on me after several of the sites I was engaged in died off and whatever. But the underlying problem here is that, many people are being given the impression that clicking ads on these sites can earn them some money. Sure I may find it a bit of a hobby and not expecting to get paid for real. But the time wasted on these sites with the hope of gaining profit just like that for some is practically false advertising!
So if you are checking the scene to see what's new, I can only say, don't bother starting!
Sure I may not have tons of referrals to my accounts at these 10+ over sites, but I'd gained a reasonable amount of dollars under my name there. But the fact is, after so long, I've not been paid anything from any of these sites before at all. Payments since October for example, have been in cryostasis and all forms of contacts to the site owners seem to be out of order. Even if the site is still up, you won't get paid and you won't get any response from the owners even if you tried.
Save yourself the trouble and go get a real part-time job if you really need money. The people that's making real money in all of this is the ones setting up websites for people to advertise/click ads from. You could consider joining them if that's your thing.
